   Are there any local nurseries known to have good plants (specifically looking for pawpaw, persimmon, mulberry) or is it better to order online?

   Hey Isaac, Welcome to the Forums!

   For those more native producers, Sylvania Natives is pretty good, a little more expensive though. Her place is on Ira Way, a tiny little alley in Squirrel Hill. Definitely worth checking out.
   Mulberries may be worth ordering online if you want improved varieties. Oikos Tree Crops or Raintree Nursery might be good bets if you want to look around online.

   Other local nurseries that I like:
   Urban Gardener- North Side/Brighton Rd
   Reilly's Summer Seat- North Hills

   Not sure if they will have those plants specifically but worth a shot.

   I ended up going the online route. By the way, Vincent Gardens (http://vincentgardens.com/) has an EXCELLENT Paw Paw deal.
