To receive email notifications of new topics, simply add a thread to your favorites page by clicking "add this topic to your favorites" at the top of the thread page. Visit your favorites tab in your profile to manage your list of favorites. For RSS you can click on forums or threads and subscribe there. You may also get an RSS feed of your favorites.
