Hello permaculturists!
I wanted to introduce myself and let you all know that my wife and I are in the process of acquiring a few lots of city owned property that we plan to build a cob house on and use permaculture techniques to reduce our dependence on grocery imports.
We also want to teach the community around us how to do the same or how to do pieces that will help them slowly transition to a more natural and less industrial lifestyle or at the very least lessen their impact even if it's just in the slightest of ways.
I've been blogging about it on our website at Orkoskey.com and I'd love to learn more about permaculture before we start the build (which won't happen until we get through the city's long process) so I've got some time. I'm also excited to bring my skills and energy to the group and hope that I can help you all too!
